KONVEX - RECEPT OPTIKA, spol. s r.o. was founded in 1991 with the aim of producing custom-made spectacle lenses in prescription ranges, designs, and materials that were not commonly available on the domestic market at that time.
Over time, the company has expanded its services to include a wide range of standard stock lenses, but at the same time it has retained its reputation as a producer who welcomes challenges to produce speciality products or lenses beyond the normal production range.
The company cooperates with many renowned foreign companies in the field of optics, especially when it comes to purchasing semi-finished products for production and materials for their processing. Yet it has maintained a purely domestic character, never seeking foreign capital.
Currently, the company is capable of processing toric and spherical surfaces with a diameter of 40 to 80 mm, covering the full conceivable dioptre range of ophthalmic optics. It also handles individual and small-batch production of technical optics from a diameter of 10 mm. The company has equipment for hardening mineral and plastic lenses and tinting plastic lenses and vacuum equipment for applying absorbent and anti-reflective coatings also on mineral and plastic lenses.
